STUDENTS MARCHED IN SILENCE TO PROTEST AND STAND IN SUPPORT WITH VETERINARY DOCTOR SUSHMA REDDY
The heritage institution Lyallpur Khalsa College for Women is steered and always working towards women empowerment. Madam Principal Dr. Navjot along with the students and the entire staff held a candle march in silence to show solidarity with the victim 27 Dr. Sushma Reddy against the heart wrenching crime wh8ch occurred in Hyderabad. They demanded strict punishment against the culprits at the earliest. Madam Principal sternly condemned such heinous crimes and termed them as shameful. She also said that such criminals are a scar to the society and such sick minded criminal and culprits must be given the severest punishment possible. She also said that such incidents are on a raise in a country like India where women are worshipped as Goddess too. But the crime against women is increasing at a pace that it has posed a big question on the Indian society. This is a matter of big concern that women aren’t safe anywhere.
