It provides a place for collaborative learning, creativity, and for developing independent research and information literacy skills.
Library is a diary of human race and wardrobe of literature, forms an integral part of any educational institution and the college provides one with a vast collection of books. The books in the library do not deal only with the curriculum and subjects of syllabi but also with the subjects of mental growth of the students as well. The books deal with the individual and hence widen the mental horizon. In the reading room, various magazine, journals and dailies are being subscribed.
Our library follows the open access system, it facilitate the users to browse and pick up the documents of their choice without any hindrance. By making accessible a rich collection of print and non-print, primary and secondary material in various disciplines, the Libraries support the academic as well as research needs of students and hundreds of teachers of the Institutes.
LKCW has a computerized library with well-set equipment and modern day technology to encourage research activities and advanced reading. We have subscribed to various e-journals-national and international, magazines and national and regional dailies to keep the students in touch with their fields of interest and provide access to articles, books, and reference material online.
Ours is a well stocked library with numerous books – course books, general books, handbooks, yearbooks and reference books. The library is well furnished and can seat more than 100 students at a time in the spacious reading hall. The peaceful atmosphere in the library plays a major role in helping students concentrate and study better.
