Youth Club

Youth Club & Rotract Club

Youth club was formed on 31st January 1998 and inaugurated by Mr. S.M. Kant Deputy Director, Punjab, Youth Services, Chandigarh on 6th February 1998. Mrs. Sareen was appointed youth co-ordinator by Youth Services, Punjab Chandigarh.  Ms. Snower was elected as President of the club.

Rotract Club was formed in 2000 and sponsored by Rotary Club of Jalandhar South. Certificate of organization presented to Rotract Club LKCW Jalandhar on 28th November 2000.

Ms. Narinder Pal Kaur was elected as President and Puneet Bajwa as Secretary. The college club has been able to carve out a special niche for itself in the Distt. 3070. The club members are doing community service, vocational service, club services and international services with great dedication. It has a glorious record of achievements in the distt.3070. It has won many trophies and appreciation awards. Ms. Babita and Ms. Pooja were elected President and Secretary respectively for the year 2015-16. Five directors were nominated for community and vocational services.

College have Hockey, Football, Kabaddi, Ball-Badminton,Volley Ball, Badminton, Lawn-Tennis, Table-Tennis, Judo and Wrestling Mats.

The college trains about 50 players in different discipline. Out of 50, 40 sportswomen from different disciplines are resident students of the hostel and are given totally free boarding and lodging.

All the sports persons are given free education i.e. no fees is charged from them. Besides this, players of all the games are given free kits. Extra refreshment 10 days before the Inter-college tournaments is given to all the players.

At the annual prize distribution function of the college, all the players are honoured and awarded merit certificates and track suits,bags etc.

Indoor games like Table Tennis, Chess, Carom Board and other facilities are also provided to the college students.
