It gives me immense pleasure to bring out the prospectus of our college for the academic year 2017-2018. The College, a unique coaching lyceum in the educational scenario of Jalandhar, Punjab has rendered a yeomen service in imparting instruction to ambitious, intelligent and diligent students to enable them to ensure a bright future for themselves in a highly competitive world. Endowed with the vision of moulding the minds of the youth, the Institution has been constantly striving with a disciplined zeal, pooling all intellectual and physical resources, to widen the horizon of its educational activities and deepen the profundity of its involvement. It is quite natural that such a college should be a triumphant success in near future. Established in 1966, Lyallpur Khalsa College for Women, Jalandhar has emerged as a top-flight institution in a short period and has gathered considerable respect in the academic arena of this region. Its hundreds of students have outshone their competitors from other institutions by their top-notch performance in various streams. This high-standard accomplishment has been possible, because, at the back of this, there is an enlightened and dedicated back up of the College Governing Council which is ever endeavouring to improve quality of Education in the State. The teaching faculty comprising highly qualified, well experienced and hard working educators with a modern outlook has been ceaselessly working to shape the future of the students. The well-planned and imposing building situated in serene surroundings, a well-stocked library with the latest volumes, state of the art laboratories, computerized administrative milieu, amenities for sports and cultural activities have helped the intellectual, physical and cultural growth of the students. Regularly and periodically conducted tests and examinations have resulted in the enhancement of the competitive skills of the students. No wonder, the students of this college have scaled the top rungs of the success-ladder in the University Examinations.
